Grunge
I had grungy oil/grease streaks coming out from between panels on the wings and it looked like too much. Now it's just coming out of the flaps/ailerons. I'll have to work on the bottom of the plane and near the engines next. Then hopefully I'll be able to work on the chipped paint and make the glass not look so pristine. After that it's speck map and normal map time.
Texturing a P-38
These pictures are of a P-38 Lightning I textured while at VFS. Now that I'm out of school I'm going back and making the texture how I wanted to, but didn't have time.
This is how it looked when I turned it in:

What I've started doing is adding the wear and tear to it starting with worn decals and grime:

In addition to finding and fixing misbehaving UV's:

I just found a quicker way to do all the grime so now in less than half the time I'll have it done.
